Tattoo Magic Unleashed

Lorenzo felt a burning sensation from his forearm, the Tattoo of Warding alerting him to the oncoming danger. Brisbane-based tattoo enthusiast he may have been in the past, but now he was much more than that – Lorenzo was a bodyguard for the most powerful man in the world, even if most people didn’t realise it yet. That meant he had to be on alert and ready for danger at every moment.

Scanning the large foyer, Lorenzo immediately picked out where the threat was coming from and sprung to action. He threw off his dark blue robes, revealing the maze of tattoos that ran along his body. Lorenzo drew power from the Tattoo of Flame on his chest and conjured a whip of fire in his hand.

The last time he visited the Japanese tattooist in the Brisbane area, he got his favourite tattoo, one that has helped him several times since. Lorenzo knew how to be efficient with the space on his body, giving him a whole myriad of tricks to use in a situation like this. Drawing on the Tattoo of Wind, Lorenzo increased his speed and ran toward the figure who planned to take his master’s life.

The would-be assassin appeared to be an ordinary aristocrat, but thanks to Lorenzo’s constant use of his Tattoo of Sight, he could clearly see the man reaching for a sharp object in his back pocket. On the underside of his wrist was an ordinary elite tattoo, but Lorenzo knew immediately that it was only temporary.

As the figure pulled out his dagger, Lorenzo lashed his fire whip forward, catching the man’s hand. The blade flew from his grasp and hit the carpet with a muffled sound. The flames melted the fake tattoo, revealing the imposter’s fraud. Beneath it was the clear gem insignia of the Zircon Clan – meaning the elite tattoo had been nothing but a false cover-up tattoo.

With the Zircon Clan insignia revealed, it took only a moment for the assassin to be swarmed by other bodyguards. As the man was dragged from the mansion, Lorenzo returned to his discarded robe and put it back on, knowing his master would not want to see the images inked to his body.
