Being an international celebrity certainly has its perks. For one, I’m filthy rich. I not only make money off my music; I make money off sponsorships, meet and greets, guest appearances on talk shows, movies and radio shows and obviously, investments. I’ve already exhausted the property market in America. I’ve got several properties in Orange Country, beachside properties in Miami and penthouses in New York. Fame and fortune certainly aren’t for everyone, but they’re most definitely for me.
Now that I’ve exhausted all the properties in America, it’s time that I start looking elsewhere. I’ve been to Australia several times for concerts. I’ve played at every arena in every Australian city and so I know the place pretty well. I think I’m going to fly there in the next week or so to scope out some potential properties for sale. I think I’ll buy a property in Melbourne and a property in Perth straight off the bat and then either purchase more properties there or consider the other states.
Since deciding to expand my portfolio to Melbourne, I’ve been in discussions with a buyer’s advocate in Brighton East. Brighton East is where the beach boxes are, which I hear are a very popular attraction in Melbourne. When I visit Melbourne I want to be in close proximity to the beach and the city, so it seems like Brighton East may be the right place to start looking. Now, I’m not going to make any purchases or bids myself. That would be a massive privacy concern seeing as I’m such a high profile celebrity. I have already spoken to the buyer’s advocate operating in Melbourne about acting on my behalf at auctions and at private sales. Seeing as this is well within their job description, they were more than happy to offer their services. I’m sure they’re also very happy to be working with such a famous person.
